ADCsystemconsistingofthreeormoreconverterstationsconnectedinacertainway,theDCsystem

needstoincludeboththegridcommutationconverter(LCC)andthevoltagesourceconverter(VSC),andthe
LCCandVSCareconnectedbystation-to-stationconnection.
Note:DCtransmissionwithgridcommutationconverterisusuallycalledconventionalDCtransmission,andDC
transmissionwithvoltagesourceconverterisusuallycalledflexibleDCtransmission.
4Generalrequirements
4.1environmentalconditions
4.1.1Normalworkingatmosphericconditions
Normalworkingatmosphericconditionsareasfollows:
a)Temperature:-10C~+55C;
b)Atmosphericpressure:80kPa~110kPa;
c)Relativehumidity:5%~95%(insideshouldnotbefrostedorfrozen).
4.1.2Standardatmosphericconditionsofthetest
Thestandardatmosphericconditionsforthetestareasfollows:
a)Temperature:+15C~+35C;
b)Atmosphericpressure:86kPa~106kPa;
c)Relativehumidity:45%~75%.
4.1.3Otherrequirementsoftheuseenvironment,
includingbutnotlimitedto:
a)Thereshouldbenoviolentvibrationsourceintheuseenvironment;
b)Thereshouldbenogasorconductivemediumthatcorrodesordestroysinsulationintheuse
environment,andexplosion-proofmeasuresshouldbetakenforthemediumwithfireandexplosion
dangerintheuseenvironment;

4.7Electromagneticcompatibilityrequirements
4.7.1Immunityrequirement
Noiseimmunityshallcomplywith4.7.1ofGB/T35745—2017onenclosureportnoiseimmunity,
auxiliarypowerportnoiseimmunity,communicationportnoiseimmunityandinputandoutputportnoise
immunity.
4.7.2Electromagneticemissiontest
Electromagneticemissiontestshallcomplywith4.7.2ofGB/T35745—2017.
4.8Structureandappearancerequirements
Metalpartsoftheequipmentshouldbetreatedwithanti-corrosion.Allpartsshouldbeintact,andthe
appearanceoftheequipmentshouldbefreeofscratchesanddamage.
Componentsusedintheequipmentshallmeetthecorrespondingtechnicalrequirements.
Partsandcomponentsshallbeinstalledcorrectlyandfirmly,andreliablemechanicalandelectrical
connectionshallberealized.
Plug-insandwearingpartsofsimilarequipmentwiththesamefunctionshouldbeinterchangeable,and
plug-inswithdifferentfunctionsshouldhaveanti-misoperationmeasures.
4.9Safetyrequirements

4.9.1Enclosure(IPcode)
Equipmentshallbeprotectedbycasing,andtheprotectionlevelshallbeIP20orIP50(ifrequired)as
specifiedinGB/T4208—2017.
4.9.2Electricshockprotection
Theelectricshockprotectionoftheequipmentshallcomplywith5.1ofGB/T14598.27—2008.
5Controldesignrequirements
5.1generalrequirements
Thearchitecture,functionconfiguration,linkdelayandoverallperformanceoftheprotectionsystem
shouldbecompatiblewiththemainloopstructureandoperationmodeoftheprojecttoensurethesafeand
stableoperationofthesystem.
ThesoftwareandhardwareplatformoftheprotectionsystemshouldadoptmatureandadvancedDC
controlprotectionmanufacturingtechnology,andgiveprioritytohardwareequipment,softwareplatformand
applicationprogramswithhighdegreeofcommercializationtoensurereliablesourcesofspareparts.
Eachsubsystemoftheprotectionsystemshouldbemodularized,layeredanddistributed,andopen,and
shouldbeflexiblyconfiguredwithgoodscalability.
Standardinterfacesandprotocolsshouldbeadoptedforinterfacesandcommunicationbetweenalllevels,
devicesandexternaldevicesoftheprotectionsystem.
Thefunctionandactionsettingvalueoftheprotectionsystemshouldbeabletodynamicallyconfigure
andadjustduringoperationaccordingtotheoperationmodeoftheDCsystem,automaticallyadapttoall
operationmodesdeterminedbytheproject,andthereshouldbenomisoperationorrejectionduringoperation
modeswitching.
Thefunctionsandparametersofcontrolandprotectionshouldbeproperlycoordinated,andtheDC
systemshouldfirstusetheabilityofDCcontroltosuppressthedevelopmentoffaultsandimprovethe
transientperformanceoftheDCsystem.
Theprotectionsystemshouldhavecomprehensiveself-diagnosisfunction,whichshouldcoverall
hardwareandsoftwaremodulessuchasthehost,powersupply,measurementcircuit,input/outputcircuitand
communicationcircuitoftheequipment,andprovideenoughinformationtoassistinlocatingthefaulttothe
minimumreplaceableunit.
TheDCcontrolandprotectionsystemshallhavetheemergencycontrolfunctionwithoutcommunication
betweenstations.Whenthecontrolsignalcannotbeupdatedduetothecommunicationfailurebetween
stations,theDCsystemshallbeabletomaintainthepowerlevelbeforethecommuni
